Fast results during the Rooftop Pressure Cooker at the Co-Creation Event

24th of June, 1300hrs - the first of the what would later turn out to be 223 people arrived at the High-Tech Campus in Eindhoven to visit the very first Dutch Co-Creation Event. In the following hours, they could talk to the 10 co-creation companies that were present, listen to the key-note speakers, participate in the panel-discussion, join a workshop and finish the day with a nice cool glass of wine while standing in the evening sun, overlooking the water and enjoying the contents of their goodiebag.
As you might have remembered, we were also present that day to inform and excite people about our specific branch of sport: expert co-creation. Next tot that, we involved them in it during our super-condensed Rooftop Pressure Cooker workshop. By rapidly guiding our ‘experts’ (we invited the most enthusiastic and interested people at the event) through the four steps of the Rooftop process, our real-life case for BNR was tackled within 1,5 hours. It resulted in 3 innovative ideas on how BNR could involve its network of loyal listeners in order to improve its programming. Of course I have to admit that spending a full day on a co-creation session would definitely provide better results, but still, not a bad result for 1,5 hours of work.
If by now you regret the fact that you missed out on all of this: don’t worry, this first Co-Creation Event was such a success that the organization (ReDesignMe and Syntens) immediately decided to continue this initiative next year. Then the time will be ripe for presenting successful products and services that resulted from co-creation initiatives. Want to know what you’ve missed or were you there and want to relive the experience? Presentations and pictures can be found on the website.
